Welcome to the Wonderful, Mind-Blowing World of Talent Development!

Welcome! My name is Sheri, and I am currently the Talent Development Coordinator for the Kettle Moraine School District. My role as an advocate for gifted and talented children is my passion! There are many educators and parents who think the same way I do, and they offer amazing opportunities for their GT students/children to flourish. They encourage and support the social, emotional, and academic growth of this under-served population. I have worked in this field for over 32 years. What I have found is that all teachers and parents truly want what is best for their students and children. What I have also found is that many teachers and parents, through no fault of their own, have not had any training or experience working with gifted children.

My desire to do everything that I can to advocate for these kids has led me here. The creation of my very own blog! My intention is to provide information, insights, strategies, helpful articles, resources, etc., drawn from my 32+ years of experience and training, which includes raising my very own gifted twin daughters. My goal is to add content every Sunday. I encourage and welcome your feedback, questions, comments, and concerns. I am anxious to see how this venture evolves over time, and I invite you to join me!

  1. I’m excited to follow you for both my own development and my son. We are both creatives feeling like we’re in a world that misunderstands us. Thank you for sharing your expertise!
